Sanders Reunion

The Sanders Reunion was really fun this year. It was up at Woods Ranch just up the canyon from Cedar City (which made it great for us). Yeah! Vickie was in charge this year and did a great job. Everyone except Travis and Rhonda's family were able to come. We sure missed them!
The kids and Chip were trying to catch a little fish in the stream that feeds the pond with their hands. No luck though.

Dahlance showing off the fish he caught at the pond.

Thank goodness for Halie's pink stroller. Connor played with it for hours, and then used it for a nap.

We took the kids Connor, Alissa, Cadance, Ashton, Dahlance, and Avery for a hike.

The Farm

So also on the 4th we decided to go out to the farm and let the kids see the animals. Connors favorite part was "driving" the tractor, Alissa really liked the baby pigs, and Cadance loved the horses. We went with Kim, Cody, Parker and Aiden.

Chip's Birthday

Yeah Chip turned 31 on the 8th of July, and I think that we had a really fun time. The girls made him a candy card and we had a "feast." I am just so glad to have him. He is such a marvelous guy. Here are ten of my favorite things about him (in no particular order).
-His smile
-His laugh
-His testimony
-His eyes (swoon)
-He is a great dad.
-He loves me. ( Yeah he is a little insane. I just hope he stays that way.)
-He is a hardworker
-He is a positive thinker
-He helps around the house. (without being asked)
-He loves the great outdoors. ( you should see him when we get to go into the mountains. He is like a kid in a candy store.)

I just have to say that for me he is "practially perfect in every way". Lucky me!!!!

Fabulous 4th

We had a great Independence Day in Richfield this year it was kind of spur of the moment. We didn't decided we were going up until Tuesday night, but it was a blast. My parent were in Idaho for the Christensen Family Reunion, but all of my brother and sisters and there families were there.
-k so I was waiting to do this blog until I could figure out how to get the e-mail pics Becca had sent me on here, but since I still haven't figured that out there are just going to have to go with the ones we have.

Connor had a blast waiting for the fireworks. Chip had put his PJ's on him for some strange reason and when we got there and got set up for a picnic with the Adams the sprinklers came on. Connor loves the water. So before you know it he was running through the sprinklers in his pajamas and playing in the puddles with his tractor.

Some of the cousins playing in the wagon. Cason, Parker, Willey, and Clara. And of course Kim "Super Mom" pulling them around. (she pulled them around forever!)

Father's Day

So this is just a little shout out to my awesome husband. I couldn't ask for a better guy. He is funny, sweet, tough, intelligent, honest, gentle and charming. And I am still completely head over heals for him. He is such a great dad and husband. Wow! He just amazes me. He is now juggling two jobs, going to school full time, he is in the Elders Quorum presidency, and he still makes time for me and the kids. He also manages the house we are renting so he does all the upkeep on it as well. Anyway, I just want to say Thank You, Love You, Your Wonderful!
Alissa, Chip, Connor and Cadance all of my most precious treasures.

Chip reading the Dad surveys that we did for my first sharing time in Primary. They turned out great. It was really fun to hear what the girls answers to the questions about Chip were. They were right on the money most of the time. Some of my favorite answers from Alissa were, Dad's favorite thing to do is "clean the blinds", and Dad works at "school." One of my favs from Cadance was, Dad really hates "whining."

Chip didn't get much for Father's Day this year, but we did make him a card. Alissa is holding it. I had the girls tell me what there favorite things about Chip were and we put those in there with their pictures and then a picture of Connor that just said I love you because you are you. Because anyone who knows Connor knows that he adores his Daddy. (As do the rest of us, he is just the most verbal about it.)

Planting the Garden

So we planted the garden the first week in June, but I just uploaded the pictures and I thought we got some cute ones. So I am going to show them off a little.

I absolutely love this picture of Connor. You can just tell that he
is having a blast and lovin the mud. What a boy!
An ever so flattering picture of me. Blah.

Yeah so I am not sure where my Alissa was when all of these pictures were being taken, but here is Connor, the neighbors Zach and Alyssa and my Cadance.

So as you can see from the pictures. I basically planted the whole garden by myself. Chip tilled it for me, but it was fun to watch the kids just having fun. I just wish we would have gotten some pics of my Alissa!
