So I started another post to update everything and it got to long so I will probably post this one first. Well about three (or four) weeks ago they put me in as the Primary President in my ward. WOW! What a complete and total shock. I went in to the interview expecting to get another piano calling or something so I was totally dumbfounded. I was playing the organ prior to this calling, and have never been in a leadership position in the church except when I was in Young Womens. (I am still playing the organ, hopefully temporarily).
Anyway, I am humbled and surprised that the Lord would trust me with the children in the ward. They are wonderful and bright and hungry to be taught. I will do my best. I have awesome councilors and a go-to secretary that have all picked up the torch and are running with it. I am sure that we will make some mistakes and that we won't be perfect. None of us have ever done primary leadership before. Three of us haven't ever been in a leadership position before and the other councilor is a convert and hasn't spend very much time in primary, but we are all excited and we will do our best. And that has to be good enough.
I need to say thank you to the last presidency and secretary. The president sat down with me for several hours and "tuned me in" to everything that I needed to do and everything that was going on.
The past secretary, who is the most organized person on the planet, also gave the new secretary all the information, forms and what not that she had prepared so that the transition between presidencys would be smooth. Thanks for all your help and for the great job your guys have done with the primary the past few years. Your great.
I know the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is the Saviors church on the Earth. I know that Jesus Christ is our Savior and that he loves us and I know that when I ask for help, which I will be doing frequently, they will be here for me. And there is no better help then that. I say this in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

Random thoughts
-K- so I know that I haven't posted in a while, but I am now so I will try to update you on what we are doing. We finally got the bathroom painted. Yeah! It is a green with blue under tones anyway. I love the way it turned out. The technically color is greenbriar, but I don't think you can tell what it would look like by the name.
Chip got a really bad sunburn. (Like the first in his life.) Ouch I feel sorry for him. It peeled and everything. Anyway that is starting to go away finally.
Cadance had a piano recital. She did great. (Way to go Cadance! I am so proud of you.) She played, "The Birch Canoe" a real classic. Ha ha. I think that Jason (my brother) may have played it for one of his recitals a zillion years ago.
We are getting new renters and they don't want the extra room so we are going to knock out the wall in the kitchen where there is still a stairway and we are going to have a family/play room. We are so excited for the extra room and hopefully it will help us to keep the living room and the kitchen cleaned up better. It also means that we will have another bathroom. Hmmm that means that we will have as many bathrooms as bedroom. Kind of goofy but oh well.
We got a new(used) refridgerator. Which means that we get to dump the old one. It wasn't working well and starting leaking water all over. It was never super great for keeping the food real cold, but it has been especially bad lately. When we moved it there was also a burn mark on the floor where it had gotten to hot. Yikes! You know that the fridge isn't going to work real well when someone else had pasted a thermometer on the inside so they could watch to make sure it was working, and the temperature is set on the coldest setting. Anyway, it was ancient. But the new one has water and ice in the door and everything and it is only 4 years old.

Stomp
My Dad took me and the girls to Stomp, and I have to say it was marvelous. Stomp is a group that make "music" using what other people would consider trash and also using their bodies (clapping hands, stomping feet etc.). The girls loved it! I would suggest checking it out if you are curious. We had a blast.
