Fun day!

We had a great weekend. On Friday Chip, Cadance and I went to the 5 Browns concert at the Tuachan. It was awesome! Cadance even loved it.
Then on Saturday we went to Home Depot and the kids all got to make something. Cadance made a bird house, Alissa made a bug catcher, and Connor made a race track. Cason made a race track too.
Then we went to the aquatic center in St. George. I don't have a swimming suit that fits right now, but everyone else got to swim. It was great. There was a special section that was great for the kids with a water slide and really shallow section where the kids could play.

Halloween

This year for Halloween we went to the Trunk or Treat that our ward had and just a few houses in the neighborhood. The kids really were excited about their costumes. Cadance was Princess Leia, Alissa was a "pretty" vampire, and Connor was a cowboy. I think they look great.

Oh and here is my costume. Isn't it great. I went as a pregnant lady.

Favorite Christmas Songs?

I am wondering what everyone's favorite Christmas songs are. My favorite album is John Denver Christmas. My favorite songs are Oh Holy Night and What Child is This. Leave me a note and let me know what your favorites are. I'm always looking for more Christmas music!

First Snow

We were so excited for the first snow that stuck this year. After school all the kids went out and played in it. Connor stayed out for an hour, but the girls stayed out for an hour and a half. They were slightly frozen when they came in, but so happy that it snowed.

Carving Pumpkins

The girls really enjoyed carving their pumpkins. (Except pulling out the guts) Connor fell asleep on the couch so he did his the next day.

The finished products. Sorry Chip took the picture and you can't even see the pumpkins.

Mighty Hunter

Chip got his deer opening morning at about 10 a.m. He got a 3x4. This year he went with some of the Sanders family down near the Coral Pink Sand Dunes.

Connor the chef

We have had a harder time then normal getting Connor to eat anything lately. His big kick right now is eggs, but he has to cook them. He actually does a pretty good job.

Connor the Cowboy!

Connor was so excited to get a new cowboy hat! He went up to his room and got the red bandana to complete his getup. He is going to be a cowboy for Halloween, but he wears his boots everywhere anyway!

Cadance's Soccer

Cadance's team this year was the Electric Limes. They did really well winning almost all of their games. Cadance really really improved this year. She even made a goal (at this game actually). They made it to the semi-finals, but got beat out one game before the Championship. Her coach was really amazing, he even had a high school soccer player come and be the assistant coach. She learned so much and made a blast. And like with most everything else had an awesome additude. Love ya, Cadance.

(Yes here is a picture of my big pot belly, and it is getting bigger every day)

Alissa's soccer

Alissa had so much fun this year in soccer. She really improved and had some good games. She was a fearless goalie, really fun to watch. She would just pounce on the ball! They didn't keep score, but I think they won about as much as they lost. She had some exceptional players on her team and also some first timers who didn't pay much attention. So she was probably right in the middle. She was fun to watch and we are so proud of her. Yeah Alissa!!!

Alissa's Team at the team party with her coach.
Cooling off at the game.

Miscellaneous pics - Sept.

Just some fun pics of the kids goofing around.

Smoothies are a favorite at our house. But always messy!

Websters Flat - Sept. 2009

We were going to go camping with the Damrons, but couldn't make it work. So we just went for a picnic. It was great weather and the kids have fun. Paul taught Alissa and Cadance the right way to throw a baseball. Connor and Cason had fun playing in the dirt and chasing each other around. The dads took the kids on a little hike. Chip and Paul climbed up some little trees and made some "horses" for the kids. Chip fell off one and banged himself up a little. The kids built a fort. Cadance and Alissa found some branches shaped like ducks. They thought they were great, and we ended up bringing them home with us.
