Alissa's 7

Our sweet girl Alissa turned seven! Wow! She is such a joy in our home and we love her so much!!
She could bring three things to show and tell for her birthday. One of the "things" she brought was Tucker.
For her birthday party we went to the swimming pool. They had a lot of fun.

Connor's B-Day

Connor's 3. We celebrated with the Jensen Grandparents on his actual birthday and then with the Damron's a week later. (They were sick the day we celebrated with my parents.)
He was really excited about the Lightning McQueen jacket that The Olsen's sent him. We found a hat that matched it later that week.
I didn't make this train cake until Cason came up. Connor was more excited to see Cason then he was to have cake or open presents. They are such good friend.
Connor had asked for a train cake for his birthday. It was a lot harder to make then I thought it would be. I ended up spending a whole day on it, but it turned out pretty good and he liked it so it was worth it.

Some of my favorite things about Connor:

He loves to snuggle.
He has a great smile.
He has loads of personality.
He is starting to gain a testimony.
He loves his daddy.
He knows what he wants and isn't afraid to ask for it.
He is my little boy!

Connor's Birthday

Connor's Birthday was really fun this year, my mom and dad, and Becca, Paul and Cason came down and celebrated it with us. He had a blast and really like his cake. (At least the cars on his cake.) I can't believe that he is 2 now. He has grown so fast.

Some of my favorite things about Connor:

1- He adores his Daddy.

2- He is 100% boy.

3- He usually has a smile on his face.

4- He loves to tease.

5- He likes to snuggle.

And he is my adorable, special, fun, little boy!

3. She is a great friend.

4. Her totally contagious giggle.

5. Her testimony.

6. That she loves to learn.

7. That she is so artistic.

8. That she is my precious "baby" girl forever.

Chip's Birthday

Yeah Chip turned 31 on the 8th of July, and I think that we had a really fun time. The girls made him a candy card and we had a "feast." I am just so glad to have him. He is such a marvelous guy. Here are ten of my favorite things about him (in no particular order).
-His smile
-His laugh
-His testimony
-His eyes (swoon)
-He is a great dad.
-He loves me. ( Yeah he is a little insane. I just hope he stays that way.)
-He is a hardworker
-He is a positive thinker
-He helps around the house. (without being asked)
-He loves the great outdoors. ( you should see him when we get to go into the mountains. He is like a kid in a candy store.)

I just have to say that for me he is "practially perfect in every way". Lucky me!!!!

Alissa Turns 5!!!!

Alissa turned five today. Wahoo! She was so excited. She has been asking me for two months when it would be her birthday. And all she asked for was a bubblegum machine. (She has definitely lived up to her nickname "treats" Anyway. We had a birthday party and I let her invite anyone she wanted to. The only people we didn't get invitations to were the family ones (mostly cousins) that were out of town. So I bought all of her treats for her birthday after Easter at the Easter Clearance sale and so I decided to have an "Easter" egg hunt for her birthday party, but I didn't want all of the big kids to get all of the candy. So we had a egg hunting relay instead. I think it went pretty well. (Obviously I bought the cake.)Alissa hunting eggs for the relay.

-K so people might think I am crazy, but I am a firm believer that you invite all or none when it comes to b-day parties. So we had a lot of kids come. I think the kids had a good time and I know that Alissa did. She is such a wonderful little girl. We love you, Alissa!
