I made Tuckers Halloween costume with a little help from my mom. I'm pretty proud of it.

We had a great Halloween, Saturday, Becca and Paul came up with there family and spent the day with us, and in the evening Kiley and Audrey came over and we all played games. Thanks for all the fun guys. It was a blast.

Friday Oct. 29

Connor, Alissa and Cadance all had class parties on Friday. I forgot the camera for Connor's preschool party (which was so cute) and I didn't go to Cadance's because I had Connor and Tucker, but I was able to help at Alissa's. Her teacher and classroom are younger sibling friendly. Connor was excited to be able to participate with Alissa and kept repeating that the teacher and said go where ever you want.
Later that day Audrey and Kiley took Alissa and Connor to the Institute to a trunk or treat and then back to their house to decorate sugar cookies. We sure love having Kiley and Audrey so close. They are wonderful with the kids and they sure love them.
Cadance went to her friends house for a Halloween party and I went to my friends house for her birthday party. Chip was logging out of town.

Poor Cadance got dropped off while all of us were gone and forgot I was at my friends house (who is also one of my neighbors) . It was late and she was terrified. She called Chip who was luckily down off the mountain and he told her where I was. (It is times like this I wish I had a cellphone) . She called me at the neighbors house and I told her to walk over I met her on the corner, but a cat had ran out in front of her and totally freaked her out while she was already scared. I felt so bad. I never leave my kids home alone so she was so scared. Yikes!

Weekend with the Grands

My parents invited us to come visit them for the weekend to help get some work done on their house. We were able to see them as well as Chip parents and my Grandma Jensen, great-Grandma Clara to my kids. Chip helped with sopheting, I made Tucker Halloween costume, and helped my mom get her pictures in photo albums. Alissa, Connor and Cadance raked leaves and picked raspberries (which they got to eat). The kids also got to play with the Smiths. (Alissa was in heaven with Avery).

It was also awesome to be able to see Kamie, my best-friend from highschool bless their adopted son. He was sealed to them the day before. I got a little emotional, because they have waited so long for him. He was sealed to them the same day they had lost a baby girl, Hannah, six years before and it was an amazing blessing. I also got to see one of my other roommates from college who I just loved, Carrie and her little family and they also had adopted a baby boy and he was going to be sealed to them this week. Anyway it was a awesome weekend filled with many friends and family.

Cadance found a huge snail that she kept around for a couple days. She wanted to bring him home, but we convinced her that it would be better to leave him where she found him. Phew!!

Tucker's favorite

Tucker's favorite food........Any color or size of flip-flop will do, removal from feet unnessary.

Yes, it is a harmful addiction that we are trying to break him off.

Some of his other favorites are breast pads and diapers (unused). ...sigh....

Cadance's Report

Cadance gave her first oral report in school. She was very nervous, but did a great job. Chip was able to go and see her give it. She spoke about the Utah Badger and made a diorama. She made a badger and a prairie dog out of modeling clay and then painted them.

Painting Pumpkins

The kids were so excited to carve pumpkins this year that they just couldn't wait. We decided to let them paint them so that they could do them early. We had some creative ideas and a lot of messy fun. We grew the pumpkins ourselves. They also painted some volunteer squash we got that was a weird hybrid.
