Connor's Testimony

Connor was really disappointed when Cason got sick a few days before we were suppose to get to see them for Connor's birthday. When I told him that Cason wasn't going to be able to come he said we needed to get him some medicine and a blessing. And then said a prayer that Cason would get better. Wow! Then the next few days he was adament that Cason was better now because he had said a prayer for him.

Connor's B-Day

Connor's 3. We celebrated with the Jensen Grandparents on his actual birthday and then with the Damron's a week later. (They were sick the day we celebrated with my parents.)
He was really excited about the Lightning McQueen jacket that The Olsen's sent him. We found a hat that matched it later that week.
I didn't make this train cake until Cason came up. Connor was more excited to see Cason then he was to have cake or open presents. They are such good friend.
Connor had asked for a train cake for his birthday. It was a lot harder to make then I thought it would be. I ended up spending a whole day on it, but it turned out pretty good and he liked it so it was worth it.

Some of my favorite things about Connor:

He loves to snuggle.
He has a great smile.
He has loads of personality.
He is starting to gain a testimony.
He loves his daddy.
He knows what he wants and isn't afraid to ask for it.
He is my little boy!

Snow Day

Our family really LOVES the snow. We had a nice snowstorm and just had to go play in it. We tried to sled, but Connor was having a rough time getting up the hill so we went back home and let the kids play in the snow hills the snow plows had made in our cul-de-sac.
Connor thought it was fun to help Chip with the snow blower. He thought he needed to fix it.

The girls stock piled snow balls for the up coming snowball fight.

Chip dug out a couple of tunnels for the kids to go through.

We love the snow!!!

Christmas Day 2009

What a great Christmas! The kids were so excited. Connor got a geotrax set. Cadance got the American Girl Doll she wanted and Alissa got a yoga ball and a 360 Razor bike. Like always my favorite part is Christmas Eve. When we have a special dinner and read the Christmas story. I really love Christmas time and hope all of you had a great one.

I think Chip had as much fun with Connors track as Connor did.

My mom made all of the kids PJ's for Christmas this year. They got to open them on Christmas Eve.

Family Christmas Party

We had a really fun family Christmas party at the Shaw's this year. There was tons of food and fun. Thanks so much to Lezlie for putting it all together!
Cadance and Alissa were innkeepers during the nativity.

Alissa and Cadance got to see Santa again, and got a bag of treats.

Our camera died before we got a picture of Connor, but he was to busy playing trains with Gavin to care about Santa much.

Piano Recital

Alissa and Cadance had their Christmas piano recital and both did very well. Alissa played Deck the Halls and Cadance played Joy to the World.
