Pioneer Day

-k- so I have been told, asked and threatened to update my blog, so here is some pics from the 24th of July. Becca, Paul and Cason came down and went to Enoch with us. We love Enoch's 24th because they have really fun things for the kids, and all the rides and activities are free.

Chip and Connor, and Paul and Cason making their way through the opstical course.

Paul and Cason going out of the tunnel. It was a tight squeeze and Paul almost got stuck!
Chip and Connor making their way out.
Alissa with Connor behind her trying to catch a fish in the fish pond.
Cadance showing off the guppie she caught.
Alissa going down the big slide.
Cadance and Connor
Cadance, Connor and Cason. Cason kind of tumbled down instead of sliding.

I of course couldn't miss out on all the fun (also I had to help Connor get up to the top)

Disneyland here we come!

So our trip to Disneyland is now official. We got our hotel this week. Now we just have to get our Disneyland tickets, which in case you were wondering are going to be more expensive then our four night stay at a three star hotel. Yikes! The girls are so excited. We are too. We don't go until the middle of October, but Alissa has already started a count down.

Connor Pictures

We went down to St. George yesterday to get Connor's 18 month pictures taken at Kiddie Kandids. I think they turned out great. We got a couple of Chip and him together that were really fun and one with his nose crinkle. We got a CD so if I can figure out how to put the pics on here I will.
We also went to Old Navy and hit the 12 dollar pants sale. Yeah, I was able to get 2 pairs of pants for me and we got two pairs of pants for Chip too.
We also went to eat at Chuck-a- rama (Chips idea). Not my favorite place to eat, but he was really excited about it. Believe it or not we had to coaks Alissa into trying a dessert. All she ate was some strawberry lemonade, a few fries and a piece of garlic bread. But Chip got her to try his cinnamon pull apart bread and then she wanted some of that and she saw my ice cream and decided she wanted that. And then just before we left she told me she was so so hungry. I got her to eat some rice and some more garlic bread, but she wouldn't even eat watermelon or pineapple. Strange!

Jepson Reunion

The Jepson Reunion was a hit this year. Chip and I actually did well on horseshoes this year. I even got a "ringer." We were going to play in the championship game but were rained out.
Cadance at the fish pond. Natalie told me that Cadance was the only child that said Thank you and she said it every time. Way to be polite Cadance!
Alissa at the fish pond.

Connor playing with a bug.Cadance getting ready to spin.

Alissa on her way back.
Avery racing for the finish.

One of the most interesting things we did was the relay. It was hilarious. You had to spin around with a bat on your head and then run to a line and back with a bean bag on your head. The person who I though was hands down the most ridiculous to watch by far was Michael. His team had to catch him as he fell down and I have never seen anyone run while being angled toward the ground before.
Brandie trying to keep the bean bag up.Char on her way back. What a sprint!
Halie trying to get the bean bag to stay on.

Michael and Heidi.

Me trying to spin with my head on a bat. It is much more difficult then it looks.

The younger generation of cousins watching a movie.

Sanders Reunion

The Sanders Reunion was really fun this year. It was up at Woods Ranch just up the canyon from Cedar City (which made it great for us). Yeah! Vickie was in charge this year and did a great job. Everyone except Travis and Rhonda's family were able to come. We sure missed them!
The kids and Chip were trying to catch a little fish in the stream that feeds the pond with their hands. No luck though.

Dahlance showing off the fish he caught at the pond.

Thank goodness for Halie's pink stroller. Connor played with it for hours, and then used it for a nap.

We took the kids Connor, Alissa, Cadance, Ashton, Dahlance, and Avery for a hike.

The Farm

So also on the 4th we decided to go out to the farm and let the kids see the animals. Connors favorite part was "driving" the tractor, Alissa really liked the baby pigs, and Cadance loved the horses. We went with Kim, Cody, Parker and Aiden.
